How Googlebot accesses your website

Post by taniakmhatuntrishaht »

If your site has been converted to Google's mobile-first indexing, most Googlebot crawl requests will be sent through the mobile crawler, and a few will be sent through the desktop crawler. For sites that haven't been converted, the majority of crawls will be sent through the desktop crawler. In both cases, the minority crawler will only crawl URLs that have already been crawled by the majority crawler.

For most sites, Googlebot visits no more than once every few seconds on average, although israel phone number lead this rate may be slightly higher for a short period of time due to latency.

Googlebot runs on thousands of computers simultaneously to improve performance and scale its reach as the web grows. In addition, to reduce bandwidth usage, Google runs multiple crawlers on computers located near sites they might crawl. As a result, your logs might show that your site was visited by multiple computers from google.com, all using the Googlebot user-agent.
