New version of cPanel – What's new?

Post by messi69 »

The cPanel control panel has released its 58th version (v58). The Linux-based tool that simplifies the process of managing web hosting, and has been on the global market for 20 years, continues to make additions and improvements that are of great help to website owners. Among them, of course, are MKhost users.

The new version of cPanel brings several useful new features. According to user feedback, AutoSSL, EasyApache 4, and the new addon domain option are among the favorite features.

AutoSSL
After three and a half years of planning, cPanel is launching canada telegram data AutoSSL, a tool that enables automatic installation and renewal of SSL certificates, which keep sensitive server data secure. Expect more details about this feature and its implementation for MKhost users soon.

EasyApache 4
EasyApache 3 is being replaced by EasyApache 4, after the previous version served users for almost a decade. The main problems with the old version were pointed to the long time it took to add a PHP or Apache module, as well as maintenance issues due to the large code base that made up the third version.

The new version has more advanced and faster customization, and allows the use of multiple PHP versions. Users will still be able to choose whether they want to use the new or previous version of EasyApache in cPanel v58.

Addon domains
If until now, in addition to 1 domain, the control panel allowed for the creation of multiple addon domains, cPanel v58 allows these additional domains to be transferred to new, separate hosting and thus also become carrier domains.

This option is especially important if two profiles are larger on the same control panel, one of which can be switched separately. This will allow the user to get more adequate use of resources, as well as greater security.

cPanel doesn't stop there. Work is already underway on the v60 version, which will include, among other things, enhanced PHP-FMP support, sub-accounts in the User Manager, as well as further expansion of the SSL market.
