Honor Announces Global Launch of Honor 50 Smartphone with Google Mobile Services

Global technology brand Honor announced the global availability of the Honor 50 on Tuesday at launch events in several markets around the world.

The Honor 50 features Google Mobile Services (GMS) and is the first smartphone to feature the Qualcomm SnapdragonTM 778G Mobile Platform. Plus, its stunning design and innovative vlogging features raise the bar for smartphones in this category.

It was the first launch ceremony since the manufacturer renewed its partnership with Google.

Honor confirmed earlier this month that its Honor 50 series will come with GMS.

The cooperation in GMS will help Honor develop in overseas markets because if they are registered overseas, Android phones need to be authorized by Google to use GMS, as overseas users are more accustomed to using Google apps.

The global availability of the Honor 50 strengthens its ambitious senegal telegram number database plans to expand overseas following its launch in China earlier this year.

George Zhao, CEO of Honor Device Co Ltd, told the Global Times that its market share in China reached 16.2 percent in August this year.

Earlier this year, Honor announced that it was in talks with Google. Several media outlets later reported that Honor was already undergoing security and compatibility testing with Google to ensure that GMS apps, including the Google App Store, Google Maps, and YouTube, would work on Honor devices.
