How much are we willing to spend on Valentine's Day?
Valentine's Day is traditionally known as the celebration nursing homes email list of love. That's what the majority of those surveyed by Groupon believe. In fact, in recent years this day has become associated with the need to buy a gift for the loved one.

In Spain, 71% of consumers plan to make purchases to celebrate this holiday. Men plan to spend an average of 171 euros, while women plan to spend around 77 euros.

In addition, it is worth noting that 45% of Spaniards expect to receive a gift on this day. While men expect to receive a gift worth approximately 85 euros, women expect a gift worth 73 euros.

The document also highlights the differences in spending by age group. Thus, young people between 30 and 39 years old are the most romantic and will spend up to 16.3% more than couples between 20 and 29 years old when celebrating Valentine's Day.

While the average spending of the former will be around 64 euros, that of the latter will be only 54 euros. On the other hand, the couples who will spend the least will be those under 20 years of age, who expect to spend an average of 39 euros, followed by those between 60 and 69 years of age, who will spend around 48 euros.

In this context, it is worth noting that most consumers plan to start their shopping a couple of weeks in advance. In Spain, 34% of consumers will make their purchases between 2 and 3 weeks before this date.
