How large hashtags should I choose?

Post by rumana969 »

It used to be common practice to use popular hashtags, i.e. large ones, which number in the billions (e.g. #love, #photooftheday) or hundreds of millions (e.g. #selfie, #photo, #travel).

Are you counting on greater engagement under sweden expose telegram new content? Today, however, it is better not to use these largest tags. Why? The number of photos with such tags in the "Latest" section is growing at a very fast pace. Before anyone can notice your post, it can disappear in the thicket of others. So it is difficult to stand out with your entry here.

Wondering what the maximum size of hashtags you should use in your posts should be? There is no clear answer.

If you are just starting your profile and have been posting for a short time, it is better to choose posts that do not exceed 250-500 thousand uses. This way, new audiences can see you. However, this is not a hard and fast rule. A lot depends on the size of the account and the level of engagement of the followers. It may turn out that your maximum threshold is, for example, 100 thousand. So test and see with which set of hashtags you get the best results.

What are the best hashtags? They shouldn't be too small and niche (i.e. under 10k uses) . If a tag isn't used by many people, chances are that few people are looking for it. The most popular posts on the platform don't have them either. There are exceptions to this rule, though.

You can use a small hashtag if:

the hashtag is related to your brand and is used for identification, not to build reach,
the tag is related to an event, competition or other organized campaign on Social Media,
a less popular hashtag will be found among many larger ones.
It can also be said that with a small hashtag you can precisely hit a given audience. The only question is whether these users know about this tag and search for new content in this way. It is always worth testing.
