average session duration – how long people are on the website,
number of interactions per visit – how a visitor interacts with the website,
Form abandonment rate – how many people left without completing the form,
number of pages per session – how many pages the user visited,
Traffic sources – where you get the most customers from.
Other metrics for tracking conversions include CPA (cost per action) and conversion value, which is the amount in your chosen currency that completing a conversion brings you. In the measurement tools that we will show you in a moment, you can easily compare the value of conversions from which sources.

We recommend analyzing the conversion rate separately for new and returning visitors. While the first-time visitor conversion rate shows you what kind of first impression you made, the second one shows you how effectively you are reaching people who already know your brand.

Learn about the key tools that will help you track and analyze website conversions and that we regularly use at Včelište.

Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 (GA) is a free tool for tracking all activity on your website. It includes all albania phone number data the metrics mentioned above, as well as demographic information about your visitors. GA allows you to set up to 30 events as “Key events” that are counted as conversions in your reports. The attribution model – a rule, set of rules, or an algorithm based on data – determines which channel the tool attributes a conversion to.

The latest version of Google Analytics 4 works with three attribution models:

data-driven attribution,
paid and organic last clicks,
Last paid Google channels before conversion.
The most commonly used attribution model is a data-driven model that evaluates a user's conversion paths and paths that do not lead to conversion. Based on this data, it then distributes credit for a key conversion based on how different touchpoints influenced its achievement. The model takes into account factors such as how much time has passed since the conversion, what device it was made from, how many interactions the user had with the ad, what was the order of the ads displayed, and so on. Be careful, if you are a small business whose website only gets hundreds of visits per day, your results will be practically the same when compared with different attribution models.
