Get to know Lead Generation: What is it?
“Lead” is a target customer who shows interest in a product or service in some way. “Lead Generation” is to attract attention and increase interest by paying attention to potential customers in order to turn the target group into customers who are ready to pay for products or services. Simply put, Lead Generation is the use of various marketing strategies both online and offline.

However, to perform Lead Generation effectively, it is necessary to use a strategy that combines online and offline marketing, including continuous analysis and improvement of the process to meet the needs and behaviors of potential customers, to build relationships, and to create decisions for the target group.

What are the types of Lead Generation?
Understanding the different types of Lead Generation, what are they? This will allow us to use them to plan our marketing strategies accurately, reach our potential target groups, and increase our sales.

Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) is a target audience that is student database engaged with marketing efforts but has not yet made a purchase, such as someone who completes a form on a website to request an offer.
Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) is a target group that has clear behavior of wanting to buy products or services and is ready to pay, such as people who fill out forms to ask for details of products or services. Do not waste time with people who are not interested in our products or services.
Product Qualified Lead (PQL) is a target group that has used a product or service before, is willing to buy it, and is ready to pay for it. PQL is most often found with companies that offer free or limited trials of a product or service that come with a special promotion.
A Service Qualified Lead is a prospect who has told your service team that they are interested in purchasing your product or service and are willing to pay for it. For example, a customer who says they need to upgrade their membership to receive the product means you need to upgrade them to a more premium reseller level.

Lead Generation Process
Now many people may have a rough understanding of what the concept of Lead Generation is. Let's take a look at the process of this.

Potential customers or target groups will reach your business through one of your digital marketing channels, such as your website, blog or social media.
Those potential customers or audiences will click on your Call-To-Action (CTA), such as an image, button, or text that encourages them to click.
CTA will lead the potential customers or target group to the Landing Page, which should show information that can create an opportunity to close the sale. It could be an offer to exchange with them, such as giving away a free eBook, free course, or free template, etc., depending on what your product or service is about.
Potential customers or target groups will create a form to exchange that offer. This is considered the easiest way to collect leads.
In short, Lead Generation works when an interested person lands on your desired page, they will fill out a form to receive an offer. This is where the game-changer can turn those interested people into your leads or customers.
