The UN is concerned about the problem of space debris - the organization has developed rules to prevent littering. For example, the device must be removed from orbit within 12 years after the end of its service life. The rules apply, in particular, to launch vehicles.

Cleaning up space debris is quite difficult because not all objects are tracked. For example, objects smaller than 1 cm cannot be detected by optical and radar means.
