5. Increase service
Providing excellent service is often a distinguishing proposition of A-brands, see for example the 24/7 careline of Nutricia . In addition, retailers are increasingly outsourcing service to the manufacturer, in order to keep their own margins high. For the consumer it is therefore a logical step to go directly to the manufacturer with their service question.

E-commerce is a driver for manufacturers to meet consumer service needs (convenience and advice), for example by selling accessories and product parts.

Dorel operates brands such as Maxi-Cosi, Quinny, Hoppop and Safety-1st through various retailers. The manufacturer wants to help its retailers offer service to the consumer. In addition, the manufacturer noticed a growing demand from consumers to order parts directly from Dorel. In this context, the Quinny service webshop was developed, taiwan phone data where the consumer can order parts directly from the manufacturer.

6. Rising transactions
The ongoing crisis and low consumer confidence have little effect on online consumer spending. This will increase again in 2012 by 9% compared to the previous year. The growth is mainly due to the increase in the number of orders. In 2012, 88 million orders were placed , 13% more than in 2011. Consumers also expect to be able to buy directly from the manufacturer more often in the future .

E-commerce is the driver to conquer market share from other players via direct online sales. In addition, it is possible to get more margin on the sale of products, if a link disappears from the chain. I also often see that A-brands exploit a certain proposition online, such as focusing on the sale of bulk products.
