. Action folder
A lot of work comes in via email. You can't always do all the work that comes in right away. That's what the action folder is for. In this folder you put all the emails that you still need to take action on. Whether this is sending an extensive answer, or a task that is assigned to you: put these emails in the action folder and note them on your to-do list. This way, these triggers are out of your inbox and your subconscious is not burdened every time you open your inbox.

3. Archive folder
How do you search for a specific email? Probably by the name of a person or organization. Smart, because a search function is often much faster than manually searching in different folders. Your archive folder is therefore a collection of emails that do not require immediate action, but that you do want to keep. And because the search function is so powerful, you certainly do not have to create dozens of folders. You can still subdivide this archive folder into projects, important customers, orders or newsletters, but try to minimize this.

4. 'Waiting for' folder
This is a really nice folder. The folder 'waiting for' is the overview of e-mails that you are still waiting for an answer to. And the great thing is: this

If you send an email that you expect a response to, bcc yourself.
Create a one-time rule in your email program. singapore phone data Make sure that this rule automatically moves all incoming emails with your email address as sender to the 'waiting for' folder.
Every time you send an email with yourself in bcc, it will now automatically go to the 'waiting for' folder. If you do this consistently, you will have a complete overview of sent emails that you are expecting a response to.
Of course, please delete or move the message if you have received a response.
You can also manually place emails in the 'waiting for' folder. For example, I put shipping confirmations from web shops in this folder, so that I know which orders still need to be delivered to me. This is also useful if you have filled out a contact form and receive a confirmation of this. By placing this confirmation in the 'waiting for' folder, you know that you are still expecting a response.
