In terms of gender, the ratios between men and women remain fairly stable: 54.17% of women in 2021 compared to 55% a year earlier. As for age, we can see a slight decline in the 18 to 39 age group in favour of a more mature audience: from 65% in 2020, the current figure has dropped to 64.17%.

The weight of the urban population compared to the rest of the population remains stable , representing 46.32% of the total. Specifically, between 2020 and 2021, its mass has increased by 1.24%, reaching 11.11 million. The city with the highest penetration in Spain is Granada (99.23%). It is followed by Barcelona (97.76%), Valencia (84.84%), Santa Cruz de Tenerife (81.51%) and Madrid (75.63%).
