Georgian Railways is announcing a tender worth 270,430,671 million GEL for the repair of Soviet-era electric locomotives and thermal locomotives . The acceptance of proposals will begin on January 25 and end on January 27. According to the tender documentation , the tender involves 26-36 electric locomotives (“VL10”, “VL11”) and thermal locomotives (“Chme3”), which were produced from 1968 to 1989.

, interested bidders have the right to inspect the locomotives to be repaired in advance. The locomotives will be equipped with the main units.

The final acceptance and delivery of the locomotives will take place after the test run.

The repair enterprise must have experience in factory overhaul of at least 10 "VL" series mainline electric locomotives (manufactured/built no earlier than 1980 and no later than 2000) and at least 5 "Chme" series Usa business fax list shunting locomotives (manufactured/built no earlier than 1980 and no later than 2000) of the "KR-2" volume, for which it must submit relevant supporting documents.

In case the repair company is registered in the Unified Register of the Council of Railway Transport of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the bidder must additionally submit a certificate of conformity issued by an accredited body on the implementation of the factory overhaul of the VL-10 / 11 and ChME-3 series locomotive "KR2" of the volume specified in the procurement object.

The contract with the winning bidder will be concluded in US dollars, in accordance with the official exchange rate set by the National Bank on the day of electronic trading, and the payment will be made in the national currency (in the case of resident individuals) in accordance with the official exchange rate set by the National Bank on the day of receipt.
