Refactored code
Since the release of the SiteGround Optimizer plugin, we have been constantly working to add new features, improve existing ones, and make sure we use the best technology available to achieve incredibly fast loading speeds for all of our users. With that being said, we are very excited to introduce a major update to the SiteGround Optimizer plugin – version 6 .

Completely new design and structure
One of the biggest changes you'll notice is the new design, featuring separate pages and a brand new dashboard. Recently, we've been adding more and more features to the plugin and decided that the old tabbed structure wasn't the best interface for the numerous improvements we have in mind. That's why we've split the interface into 5 pages, consisting of separate sets of carefully crafted tools designed to optimize your website, improve loading speed, and even decrease resource usage.

New page – The control panel

The all-new dashboard offers a quick glance at your website’s current optimization status, along with shortcuts to relevant pages where optimizations may be in order. Since keeping your WordPress application, plugins, and themes up to date is important for the speed and security of your website, we’ve made sure to add a notification to the dashboard in case your WordPress and/or plugins need an update.

Recommended Features Label
While we have always done our best to explain the different features you can find in the SiteGround Optimizer plugin, we realized that some of them may still sound complicated to the average WordPress user and you may have a hard time figuring out which of the features you need to use. To help you make the best choice for your website, we have added the “Recommended” tag to all the SiteGround Optimizer features that we are sure will speed up your website without breaking anything or interfering with other settings.

Image compression and improved imaging features

We’ve significantly improved our image compression technology to ensure that even with the increased compression and size savings, your images still look as good as ever. Additionally, we’ve added a “Preview” option so you can make sure that the compression level you’ve selected doesn’t visibly affect the quality of your images. You can also choose to backup your original images before starting the compression process – this is a great feature in case you want to change the compression level in the future or just want peace of mind.

WebP image generation has also been improved, and a new option for larger images has been added: auto-resize for all images whose width is greater than 2560px, which is more than enough for most screens from which websites are viewed.

The plugin redesign and restructuring gave us the opportunity to refactor our new zealand whatsapp number data code and make sure everything is optimized and tested for the best performance possible. While the entire plugin has benefited from the refactoring, there are two tools where the change has been noticeable: WordPress Heartbeat optimization (available on the Environment page), whose accuracy and options have been improved, and the automatic cache purge (available on the Cache page) which now also includes the option to purge the WordPress API cache.

We've had a lot of fun creating this new version of SiteGround Optimizer and we're confident that the tools we've developed will help you get the best and fastest version of your website. Leave us a comment to let us know which of the plugin's features you like the most and what you'd like to see in future versions.
