Discover your why

Post by arzina221 »

Nowadays, you don't have to be a web designer or builder to set up a website. However, it's not easy without the right tools. Which components determine whether your website will be successful or not? A clear goal, solid preparation and focus on the content. In this article, we'll take you through ten important steps.

The first seven steps focus on collecting input and writing content. The last three steps are about building your website. We could write a book about each point, but these steps will at least give you something to hold on to and a strong start.

You probably know what your company does. What kind of product or service you offer. And many also know how they do this. But there are only a few who communicate why they do what they do. And those are precisely the most successful organizations. That is how you distinguish yourself from the competition. Simon Sinek did extensive belgium telegram data research into this and came up with the model 'The Golden Circle' that starts with 'why' .

Think about why you started your business, what motivates you the most, what gets you out of bed in the morning, what you believe in, and what your values are. Think about the why and write it down as you would pitch it to a potential client. You will put this on your about us page later. Then you can write a short version that will go on your homepage.

People don't buy what you do, people buy why you do it.

2. What do you have to offer?
This sounds obvious, but write down for yourself what exactly you offer. For which services and products is your perfect customer at the right address with you. It can be a challenge for you to make choices. Maybe you want to offer everything or you can just do a lot. Fine, but keep in mind that your website visitor will quickly lose their way.

So choose a few important products or services (or the most valuable ones) and describe them well. Of course, it is fine to describe multiple products first and even show them on the services page of your website. But then choose a few products (or even one) that get all the attention on the homepage. Are you a jack of all trades? Then you can of course still offer all those other services. But that will come up naturally when you are sitting at the table with that perfect customer.
