In a context of unprecedented growth in employment, a divergence of sources on employment after the health crisis
After the health crisis, employment increased very sharply in France. Administrative data from the Employment Estimates and the results of the Employment Survey (EEC) agree on this diagnosis: thus, between 2019 and 2023, on an annual average, employment increased by 1.73 million according to the Employment Estimates and by 1.27 million according to the EEC.
