One of the things you need to do right away for your online

In February, Lawrence decided to migrate from their legacy POS system to Lightspeed. The restaurant was introduced to the system by a regular customer, who just so happens to be a Lightspeed employee! The need for a more powerful and modern POS system motivated the restaurant to make the switch.
Building your new online store is an exciting adventure! You have to build your inventory, find a web host, design the site, set up payments, get an SSL… and the list goes on. We’re on a mission to make it as enjoyable and easy as possible for you.
store is to connect it to a domain so that your site is indexed. If you don't know how to do this, we're here to help! Step by step, here's how to set up your domain name.

With their previous system, co-owner Sefi wasn’t able to use car owner data the backend office. Plus, she had to track sales herself, which she found cumbersome and time-consuming. With an intuitive interface and cloud-based access, Sefi feels much more comfortable using Lightspeed’s simple interface and reporting to streamline the restaurant’s daily operations. Servers also feel more comfortable with the system and able to troubleshoot issues themselves. For more complex technical issues and questions, Lawrence can count on Lightspeed’s support team, who are always available to help.

"I think that's the main thing — how familiar the language is to everyone. There's not really any teaching to be done with the system."

In terms of Lightspeed’s features , Lawrence’s owners are fans of its reporting. Sefi appreciates how easy it is to log into the system and, in no time, generate reports for specific dates and time periods. With Lightspeed’s robust reporting, she can track her sales and see what the restaurant sold and how much. Now, for example, the sommelier can see how many bottles of wine she sold instead of manually entering the information into Excel. With Lightspeed’s point-of-sale system, she can cut out time-consuming steps and time spent analyzing data and doing accounting.

Happy with the change in system, Lawrence owners Marc Cohen, Ethan Wills, Annika Krausz and Sefi Amir chose to locate Lightspeed Restaurant at Larry's, their new neighboring café, which opened two months ago on Fairmount Avenue.
