The topic of creating offers is as long and broad as the entire history of business . In short, creating offers is a bit like being a doctor and a football expert and, nomen omen, a marketing expert – because everyone knows about medicine, football and marketing. Does knowing customer needs matter?
In writing effective offers, it is very useful to know the needs of the customer. This may seem like a truism, because in this case, again, every business owner knows what their customers expect. To a large extent, this is true, but there are situations that offerors are not aware of. For example, the influence of emotions on making purchasing decisions . When I run workshops on creating offers, I ask customers if they are rational or emotional? What do they find out? Most consider themselves rational people (especially when I ask men). Interesting? Very interesting, and also completely inconsistent with the facts. Our decisions are mainly influenced by emotions. The mind usually only starts working when it is necessary to rationalize an emotional purchase . You know this state, don't you? You have spent money well beyond your means and now you are very hard looking for arguments that will allow you to forget about the amount of the invoice (I also know this from my own experience).
