How Does a Programming Language Work?
In today's class, I'm going to show you how a programming language works! Do you know what a programming language does? How does it operate inside your computer?

In this class, I will explain how a programming language works and show you the difference between them.

When you use a computer, you are giving it commands to perform actions. Every click or movement of the mouse, every key you press on your keyboard, every window you open, all of this is only possible because there is a programming language .

In other words, behind every interaction with the computer, there is a programming language running, translating your commands into actions that the machine can understand.

It turns out that, depending on what you need to do, there may not be a ready-made program for it. For example, if you want to automate a repetitive task, like sending a report to your boss every day at 9 am, there is no way to automate it.

And that's where programming language comes in. It's the tool that allows you to create new features for computers, websites or applications, granting control over new actions performed by the computer.

How Does a Programming Language Work?
Computers only understand zeros and ones (0 and 1), which is called binary language . They are not able to understand our language, but rather interpret these zeros and ones that they are receiving.

Since they only understand these sequences of zeros and ones, it is essential to translate human commands into binary sequences that the computer can understand. This way, it can perform the desired actions.

This language understood by the computer is what we call machine language.

Machine Language
Machine language is the language that the computer understands. It processes and interprets this sequence of 0s and 1s to execute the instructions that have been passed to it.

However, for humans, this language is not at all intuitive and clear. For this, we need something that is closer to natural language, the language with which we communicate. And that is where the programming language as we know it comes in.

Programming Language
A programming language is nothing more than a set of words and symbols that we pass to a translator that will transform this normal language into a machine language.

This is a way humans and computers can communicate by writing instructions that the computer understands and executes.

Programming languages ​​have specific syntactic and semantic rules that define how these instructions should be written and interpreted by the computer.
