Where to find Audience Overlap?

Post by sharminakter »

How many times in your career have you been able to say that you had a clear idea of your target audience?

Marketing itself isn’t rocket science, but consumer behavior can be. Customers make choices based on changing factors, some of which aren’t at all obvious. You can’t predict their actions, but you can still track current consumer insights to optimize your marketing campaign.

Knowing a website’s traffic can provide incredibly useful data, but what about other factors? What magazines does your target audience read? What substitutes do your loyal customers consider? You can find all of this information in Semrush’s Audience Overlap tool . The graphs provided will show you the percentage of users who visit the two websites you entered in the fields (you can enter up to five). Below are several ways you can use audience overlap to find marketing insights for strategic business solutions.

Before we get into the nitty-gritty, let’s quickly cover how to find Audience Overlap in the Semrush interface.

Head over to Semrush’s Traffic Analysis tool , enter a domain, and hit “Search.”
Next to the blue “Add up to 3 competitors” button, enter a website you want to compare against.
Note: You must enter at least one competing paraguay telegram number database domain for Audience Overlap to appear in the interface.
1. Get information on less obvious competitors
Premium brands don’t compete with the mass market. Or do they? Your audience may not care so much about what market you identify with, they just want a polo shirt. As the graphs below show, visitors to Ralph Lauren’s site don’t hesitate to take a look at what H&M has to offer. Whether they’re looking for a basic or high-fashion item, Audience Overlap is useful when you need to verify real audience insights.

2. Expand the range of partners for collaboration
Sometimes, customers choose between categories of products that are completely unrelated (at first glance). For example, Sephora cosmetics, Pandora jewelry, Victoria's Secret lingerie, and a Netflix subscription are not interchangeable in practical terms, yet they would all make great Christmas gifts for a woman.
