What did the 12th edition of the SDG Breakfasts consist of?
On January 18, 2023, the 12th edition of the SDG vk database Breakfasts was held under the title “ Healthy habits to ensure health and promote well-being ”. The event was organized by the Mediapost team in its commitment to sustainability and the 17 goals for Sustainable Development and the 2030 Agenda set by the UN.
Ana Góngora , general manager of Mediapost , was responsible for moderating this edition and highlighted that the SDG breakfasts are held to help achieve the objectives set out in the 2030 Agenda in relation to the business world. Specifically, in the 12th edition, healthy habits to prevent diseases were discussed.

The event was attended by Adriana Fernández , dietician and nutritionist at El Taller de Bienestar , a centre for promoting healthy habits; the nutritionist, nurse and yoga expert, Lara Marín , at Clínicas Segura ; the CEO of Traïnsplat and doctor in biomedicine, Sonsoles Hernández and Yolanda Domínguez , director of Marketing and Communication at AECC .
The participants discussed the importance of having healthy habits and following them daily to prevent diseases, and always from a business perspective.

Mediapost director Ana Góngora highlighted the role that society and companies have in introducing healthy habits into our routines, committing to achieving the proposed objectives to generate opportunities, improve health and prevent diseases.
After her speech, Yolanda Domínguez highlighted the importance of prevention and taking into account healthy habits when facing cancer . She commented the following: “ We must break the myth of cancer that it doesn’t matter what you do because it is a lottery. It is true that sometimes it is genetically determined, but prevention is essential and there is scientific evidence that 50% of cases can be avoided by having healthy lifestyle habits. The first thing we must do to face it is to call it by its name. It is a word that is very scary, but today we do not face it as we did many years ago. The figures for overcoming the disease are much more optimistic .” And she added that brands have the power to give visibility to cancer.
