WordCamp BCN – Contributor day
On October 5th and 6th I was lucky enough to attend a WordCamp for the first time, an event that brought together around 140 people in the city of Barcelona on its first day (Contributor Day) and around 400 on the second day (WordCamp itself).
For those who don't know, WordPress is open source software for creating list of morocco whatsapp phone numbers websites, meaning that the code is in the public domain and therefore anyone can contribute to improve it. Contributions can range from collaborating in the development of a part of the software to simply giving feedback on a topic, or designing a banner or translating a menu... it all counts.
There are several areas where you can contribute: design, core (code), themes, plugins, translations, etc.
Well, Contributor Day is a day in which the organization is dedicated to bringing people together to contribute to improving WordPress , and in this way pay the debt that we all have with it.

On October 5th, around 140 people met in a room at the Movistar Centre building and we organized ourselves into work tables. Each work table was dedicated to an area, design, themes, core, translations, support, etc., and each one was led by an expert in the field. In my case, I was at the design table and our leader was Ana Cirujano, an involved member of the WordPress community and web developer expert in typography, who I must also say seemed like an excellent person to me.
