Ukraine is one of the world's crypto leaders
The crypto community’s strong reaction to the war has not gone unnoticed by the world. The Washington Post called Russia’s invasion of Ukraine the world’s first crypto war.

“As Russian President Vladimir Putin’s forces invade Ukraine, two economies that are leaders in adopting a new form of digital money are using it to their advantage in the geopolitical struggle,” the Washington Post wrote on the second day of the great war.

According to the rating of the analytical company Chainalysis, Ukraine hong kong number data ranks first in Europe and fourth in the world in terms of the cryptocurrency adoption index. Analysts took into account indicators such as the number of deposits, transactions and the value of cryptocurrencies held by the country's users. Ukraine's advantage lies in state support for the crypto community. The Ministry of Digital Affairs first publicly stated the need to legalize the Ukrainian crypto market in 2019:

“People who deal with cryptocurrency should get out of the gray zone and start paying taxes,” said the head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Mykhailo Fedorov, at the time.

He noted that the legalization of crypto is necessary so that mining can start working and, in the future, the state can earn money from cryptocurrency traders.
