4: List your site's authority pages
Pages with the highest authority receive high-quality inbound links (i.e. links from external pages).

Google sees inbound links as a vote of confidence. So if a page gets a lot of votes – that is, inbound links – some of that authority can be passed on to it.

The goal is to pass this authority (or link equity) strategically to other pages via internal links.

To do this, find the pages on your site with the highest authority using Semrush's Backlink Analysis tool .

Enter your domain name and click “Analyze”.
