Dutch Interactive Awards 2013
On May 16, the fourth time the prizes for the very best interactive work of the past year will be awarded during the Dutch Interactive Awards (DIA). The jury will not only look at design and creativity, but also at the result and the construction of the project.
In this series we interview five nominees about their project: their goals, challenges and the final result. And why should this particular initiative DIA win? The website Knab.nl is nominated in the category 'Best online service B2C'.
“A new bank, completely built from scratch. That was the starting point when we became involved in setting up Knab in 2010. A challenging and extensive project, which demanded the utmost from the project organization on all fronts. The result is impressive.
The initiators wanted to set up a bank that was different from other banks. Knab, started under the project name Bank van Morgen, is unique because the financial situation and the interests of customers are the starting point. Most other banks mainly focus on their own products and not on the interests of the customer. Knab breaks this tradition spain phone data by turning things around. The bank is there for the customer and not the other way around.
In less than two years, we have created a new and above all innovative bank, launched in September 2012. Knab's goal is to make customers financially smarter and more aware. Customers are given financial tools and knowledge in their own hands, so that they gain more insight into their financial situation and can make the best decisions about their assets themselves."

What were the main challenges during development?
“There is no book 'How to build a bank'. We took responsibility for the design, the realization of the front-end and integration with the various back-end and mid-office systems. We are the only non-product supplier and therefore got an overarching role.
