Connect Google Webmaster Tools to Google Analytics
In order to see in Google Analytics how your website scores in Google Images (and also in Google Web), Google Analytics must be linked to Google
Create an account for Google Webmaster Tools . Use the same Google account that you use for Google Analytics.
Add your website in Google Webmasters Tools. There are several ways to verify that you own the site in question. The easiest way is to verify via the tracking code of Google Analytics. This verification method only works if the tracking code is placed directly before the </head> tag in the source code of your website.
Once you have added the website, log in to Google Analytics. Now go to the reports of the website that you have added in Google Webmaster Tools and want to link to Google Analytics. Look under the report Traffic Sources > Search Engine Optimization > Search Queries. Here you will see a large button 'Set up Google Webmaster Tools data sharing'. When you click on this, you will automatically see an overview of all the websites that you have added to Google Webmaster Tools. Select the website that you want to link.
Once the connection is ready, you will see nice statistics in the reports under Traffic Sources > Search Engine Optimization about how your website is performing in Google. But there is more than meets the eye.
Google Images in Google Analytics
Did you know that in addition to your site italy phone data performance statistics in Google, you can also see statistics about your website performance in Google Images? This information is somewhat hidden, but offers interesting insights. Do you have a website with physical products? You might be surprised by the number of impressions in Google Images. Curious?
Go to the Traffic Sources > Search Engine Optimization > Search Queries report.
In the right-hand section below the graph, click on 'Other' and choose 'Google property' here. You will now see a breakdown of the number of impressions and clicks you receive from Images, The Internet (Google Web), Mobile (smartphone) and in some cases also Video and Mobile.
If you adjust the display in a pie chart (icons on the right side of your screen) you will see a nice representation of the distribution of the number of impressions of your website in the different Google properties.
