What exactly is Smart Working?
According to the Italian Ministry of Labor, Smart Working is nothing more than a way of performing a subordinate employment relationship characterized by the absence of time or space constraints and an organization by phases, cycles and objectives, established by agreement between employee and employer; a way that helps the worker to reconcile life and work times and, at the same time, promote the growth of his productivity .
Described in bureaucratic jargon, it almost seems as if an agile work policy does nothing more than authorize your team to total anarchy. In reality, introducing smart working is nothing more than the possibility of being able to work from home (or any other place) without necessarily having to reach your company headquarters, while remaining productive, and putting the employee in a position to provide their service without taking into account the hours; in other words, what matters is achieving the objectives.

As reported in the themed chapter of “Mobile Working” , Cristiano Carriero 's signature book , a study by the Milan Polytechnic Observatory, in fact, would demonstrate that not only could 40% of workers work outside the company and respect their duties, but also that this practice would bring benefits:
To business, with a reduction in costs and an improvement in productivity;
To the worker, with a general improvement in the quality of life and a per capita saving of €450;
To the environment: 1.5 million tons less CO2 per year.
