Portologia, The House of Port, is an ode to the wines of Portugal. Part wine cellar, part wine bar, and part tasting room, this unique Parisian venue offers a refined and sought-after selection of over 200 Port and Douro wines, with a special focus on small producers.

The objective: to introduce as many people as possible to the richness and diversity of these great wines that are too often overlooked.
Julien Dos Santos, the owner of this establishment, and last database his team welcome you and offer advice. Portologia Paris was initially born from an observation: the impossibility of finding the diversity of Portuguese wines in France, which is nevertheless the leading consumer of Port wines.

“I met many people who had discovered Port wines in Portugal and said to me: “I can’t find the wines I drank there!” And in fact, there was no place or website truly dedicated to Port wines.”

Portologia is the answer to this need and therefore offers a very wide selection of Port Wines and Douro Wines. The bottles are displayed on the walls of the main dining room, friendly and bright. You can choose a bottle and sit down, taste wines by the glass, or buy bottles to take away. It is also possible to book this place for an evening with friends, or an after-work drink with colleagues around a selection of Port wines.

Vertical, horizontal, and diagonal tastings are offered à la carte, ranging from 3 to 30 glasses (for multi-day masterclasses). This educational offering is suitable for both beginners and experts.



Portologia demonstrates that Port is a great wine, far from the clichéd image of an aperitif of the ancients. A great wine that pairs wonderfully with everyday dishes. The demonstration is also held on-site, with platters of French and Portuguese products or during dedicated themed evenings.
